Offering a glimpse into the future of E-Disk solid state flash-based storage, BiTMICRO Networks is now a member of two major industry groups, the Serial ATA International Organization (SATA-IO) and the SCSI Trade Association (SCSITA). Serial ATA (SATA) refers to the next-generation internal storage interconnect designed to replace parallel ATA technology. Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) is the logical evolution of SCSI interface, including its long-established software advantage and the SATA electrical and physical connection interface.

E-Disk® Ignore Cache Disable Feature
The E-Disk® solid state disk has a feature that allows PowerGuard®– enabled units to IGNORE any cache disable setting. BiTMICRO Networks has released an application note that guides the E-Disk® SSD user on how to use the write cache for optimum performance while keeping cache data protected from power outages using BiTMICRO's PowerGuard® technology.
