Entry-level Flash Drive EDisk ATI25 delivers higher bandwidth and reliability

 

FREMONT, California -- Aug. 15, 2000 -- BiTMICRO® Networks, a supplier of solid state flash disk drive storage solutions, introduced today its new 2.5-inch IDE entry-level E-Disk® ATI25. The ATI25 edisk flashdisk drive breathes new life into 2.5-inch IDE data storage with its exceptional reliability and performance.

 

The EDisk ATI25 electronic disk is considered to be one of the fastest IDE flash disk drives available with sustained read/write transfer rates of 4.5 MBytes per second and burst read/write transfer rates of 5 MBytes per second. The new solid state disk features storage capacities ranging from 128 MBytes up to 4.3 GBytes. The ATI25 can operate within the temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees centigrade and withstand 1,000 Gs of shock and 16.5 Gs (rms) of vibration.
