Executive Brings Unparalleled Experience and Insight as the Company Expands Its Product Rollouts, Production Ramp Up and Market Presence
FREMONT, California -- Apr. 29, 2002 -- BiTMICRO Networks, Inc., a rapidly growing premier supplier of high performance solid state disk storage and management solutions, today announced the appointment of Paul Romeo, former Extreme Networks' Vice President of Operations, to its Board of Directors.

Paul fills that need with his extensive production ramp up and manufacturing experience. Mr. Romeo was formerly Nexsi's Vice President of Manufacturing. Prior to Nexsi, he served as the Vice President of Operations from 1997 to 2000 for Gigabit Ethernet pioneer, Extreme Networks. From 1989 to 1997, he held the Vice President of Operations' position at Compression Labs, a video conferencing company. Prior to that, he served as Vice president of Manufacturing at High Yield Technology. He started his career at Hewlett-Packard where he worked in several different management positions for 15 years.
