BiTMICRO Networks Names Lin L. Chan as Chief Financial Officer

New Executive to Take Company to Next Level

Fremont, Calif., March 18, 2003 - BiTMICRO^® Networks, Inc., a leading supplier of solid state storage disk solutions, announced the appointment of Lin L. Chan to the position of Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Administration. Chan, who has over 20 years of financial management, will be responsible for all of BiTMICRO's financial operations, reporting, human resources and information technology.

Chan brings corporate finance experience from early-stage start-ups to global 1000 companies. She has a strong record of achievement in technology industries and has been instrumental in managing rapidly growing companies. She has significant experience with public financings, SEC issues and reporting, Wall Street, press and media relations, major institutional investors, and international markets. Most recently, she provided interim CFO services to private and public companies, including Nanospire, Inc., GeoCOM International, Ltd., Pacific Investors, Inc., Optiva, Inc. and Digital Reflections, Inc. Ms. Chan also held various executive positions, ranging from Controller to CFO, with MeetWorldTrade, Inc., PC-Tel, Inc., and SOLA International, Inc. She holds an MBA degree in Marketing and Management, from Santa Clara University, and a B. Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Tasmania.
