| BiTMICRO Networks to Discuss Cost-Performance Issues in Solid State Drive Deployment at Flash Memory Summit 2008 |  |
Fremont, CA — August 1, 2008 — BiTMICRO Networks, a pioneer in intelligent flash solid-state drive solutions, announced today that Marius Tudor, Director for Business Development, has been selected as panelist at this year’s edition of Flash Memory Summit.
To be held from August 12-14, 2008 at the Santa Clara Marriott in the heart of California’s Silicon Valley, Flash Memory Summit will feature several seminars and sessions focusing on the growing use of non-volatile NAND flash memory-based storage in a variety of enterprise and embedded systems applications. Marius Tudor’s presentation, titled “SSDs in the Enterprise: Balancing Cost and Performance,” will examine the cost-performance issue by evaluating different use case scenarios and NAND Flash technology trends that may influence future solid state drive deployment in servers and enterprise storage. This presentation will be part of Forum F1C: Flash in Enterprise Storage Systems scheduled for August 12, Tuesday.
