The securErase^® Technology is a feature of our drives that allows for erasure and sanitization of sensitive data in compliance with various military standards. With traditional hard drives, erased data can be recovered by unwanted users, making them poor choices for high security applications.

The user can set the drive to erase or sanitize as soon as the system powers down, either through software or a hardware switch. This switch can also immediately activate erase or sanitization functionality. If the process fails to complete before power is lost, the securErase feature will automatically resume when the drive powers up, making this an invaluable security feature for military customers.
