E-Disk^® Analyzer

The E-Disk^® Analyzer (EDA) is a Flash Analysis Development System that emulates and tests flash memory in solid-state flashdrives. It is a versatile tool that is used by our hardware, manufacturing, firmware application and field engineers in all phases of the E-Disk^® flashdrives' lifecycle. Even customers will be able to benefit from using EDA as they are able to modify E-Disk^® user- programmable features, monitor its performance and statistics and upgrade E-Disk^® flashdrives' firmware to the latest version.

The EDA is also key to diagnosing even the most complex problems in our laboratories and in the field and has therefore given BiTMICRO^® competitive advantage in the area of customer support and satisfaction. EDA has the following functionalities:

Download Microcode - allows the user to upgrade to the latest microcode version
Format - performs low level format
Security Erase - initiates, runs, and verifies full and irretrievable data security erase functionality of the E-Disk^® securErase^® firmware utility
Monitor Cache - monitors write/read cache performance
Configure - defines user-programmable parameters for performance and reliability preferences
Report on Write Statistics - generates I/O write and performance statistics
Report on Defect Data - reports all defective Logical Block Addresses
Reset Drive - performs SCSI bus reset

The lightweight version of E-Disk^® Analyzer is available for download by all registered BiTMICRO^® customers from the Technical Support page. A tailored version of the software is also made available to select customers with specialized E-Disk^® flashdrives' features.
