INTRODUCTION

A trademark is a word, phrase, slogan, design or symbol used to identify goods and distinguish them from competitive products. Trademarks may be registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and similar offices worldwide. However, in the US and in other countries with legal systems based on English common law, trademark rights also accrue through common law (Source: Master-McNeil, Inc.).

The BiTMICRO Trademark Policy details BiTMICRO regulations for using or referring to BiTMICRO brands, trademarks, product and service names, and slogans. These rules apply to all BiTMICRO organizations worldwide and to BiTMICRO resellers, professional writers and editors, licensees and other third parties making reference to BiTMICRO trademarks. BiTMICRO reserves the right to modify these regulations as it deems necessary or appropriate, including by written agreement or license with third parties.

Below is a list of current BiTMICRO trademarks that reflect the current registration status. This list will be updated from time to time, at BiTMICRO's sole discretion.

When referring to BiTMICRO trademarks and registered trademarks, always include the proper notation after the name and logo (® for Registered Trademarks and ™ for Trademarks). In text it is only necessary to annotate the first instance of the trademark in a given document or piece. After the first instance, placement of ® or ™ symbols after the word is strongly recommended, though optional.

When using logos, always include the ® or ™ in every instance. Logos may only be used under license from BiTMICRO. Refer to the BiTMICRO Logo and Brand Signature Guidelines for details.

RESERVATION OF RIGHTS

BiTMICRO Networks, Inc is the owner of all right, title, and interest in the BiTMICRO brand and logos. No person or entity may reproduce or use (or authorize the reproduction or use of) the BiTMICRO brands and logos in any manner other than expressly authorized by BiTMICRO. Unauthorized use of BiTMICRO brands and logos is strictly prohibited.

BiTMICRO Networks, Inc. may, at its sole discretion, modify the BiTMICRO brands and logos at any time. Please refer to the BiTMICRO Trademarks Chart periodically to ensure your compliance. In order to assure compliance and quality of control, BiTMICRO may request that you provide samples of any marketing, advertising, or other material that includes the BiTMICRO brands and logos.
